Malaysia-born lingerie brand SKIVA expects a double digit growth in its annual sales over the next five years which will see its yearly sales rising to RM35 million by 2015.
The company's present annual sales stands at RM16 million, said Joseph See, the Chief Executive Officer of Grand Bell Trading Sdn Bhd, which is the manufacturer and retailer of SKIVA products.
See said the growth was achievable with the company's continuous research and development (R&D), advertising and promotional (A&D) programmes as well as its local manufacturing capabilities.
Strong emphasis will be given for R&D to support its rebranding and advertising and promotional activities, See said during a media preview of the two-day Skiva exhibition at Subang Jaya starting today.
He said the company will be also investing RM2 million on 10 more outlets and 20 departmental counters over the next 24 months.
The company's R&D programmes are undertaken by its fully-owned subsidiary, Double Wonder Sdn Bhd, the local manufacturing arm for Skiva products.
Skiva products are currently distributed nationwide through 21 boutiques and 53 counters in departmental stores. Grand Bell Trading also has branches in Maldives, Singapore and other ASEAN countries.
