The brand manager of Shang Sixteen told Globalintimatewear.com that Gujin see huge market potential in the Teenagers’ market. And its new brand, Shang Sixteen, is targeting on this group. Shang Sixteen advocates a natural, comfortable and healthy life style for youth girls. And the price is not expansive considering that the limited consumption power of youth girls.
 
Shang Sixteen has conduct in-depth study of youth girls’ shape to design different functions for different growth periods. It also closely follows the seasonal change. This youth brand is dedicated to bring a delicate, intimate and personal care for Chinese youth girls.
 
So far, Shang Sixteen has over a thousand points of sale all over China and will be expand the market following its mainstream brand, Gujin.
 
Shang Sixteen’s brand manager also revealed that increasing domestic underwear brands eye for teenagers market. Many of them have already opened branch brands for this market segment. The brand manager told us that the trend of China’s underwear industry is market segmentation. So far, Gujin have various brands targeting at different market segments, for example, Mei Mu Sha is a high end brand, Gujin is a classic and mainstream brand while Shang Sixteen is a youth brand.
 
Now, Gujin mainly sells its products through independent stores, counters in department stores and regional agents. However, as online shopping becoming popular in China, it will also try the e-commerce business model in the near future.
