Playful Promises Launches Lingerie Design Competition

The emerging brand's collection is entitled Paradise, and aims to juxtapose innocence and sin in a style described as future-retro by the company's founder and designer Emma Parker.

Winning designs will become part of the Playful Promises SS13 collection, which will sell world-wide to independent boutiques, department stores and online retailers – a huge potential boost to a designer's future career.

The Paradise collection will use a colour palette of nudes and blush pinks with acid yellows and dashes of apricot and magenta pink. For inspiration, budding designers should look no further than John Milton's Paradise Lost poem.

The competition closes at the end of March, with the collection including the winning designs launching in July.
