Leafing through vintage prints of VOGUE and sketches of Jazz Age haute couture, Lola Haze TM designer Laura Mehlinger was inspired by the attitude of experimentation, barrier-busting and joyful glamour. Says Mehlinger:

"When the modern Lola Haze TM woman steps into the Spring Shimmy collection, I hope she’ll also feel unique, glamourous and joyful.”

Details include a reference to Cubism seen in the color-blocked Deco Slip, while French haute couture designer and pioneer of bias draping Madeleine Vionnet gets a nod in the cross-pattern silk chiffon with silk charmeuse Vionnet Chemise. Sweeping lace cut-outs at the back and bust line mark the Screen Goddess group (Slip, Romper, and Cami/Short set) as well as the Ivory/Black Chemise. The Ritz features all-over gold foil fabric and mesh cut-outs with gold rings in the group’s Slip, Teddy and Cami/Panty set. Colorways of Spring Shimmy include Ivory, Black, Peach and Nude with bold touches of Gold and Shocking Pink.

Charmeuse silk and chiffon continue to be a Lola Haze TM favorite, as well as solid and metallic mesh and placed lace. Striped cotton poplin, a new fabric choice, is seen in the Bees Knees Romper.
