Gossard's Live Bra Fitting

Lingerie brand Gossard grabbed the attention of passers-bys in Liverpool on Friday, when it staged a bra fitting in the window of the Liverpool One Debenhams store.

Debenhams and Gossard teamed up for the live bra fitting in a bid to dispel the myths associated with having a professional measurement. A Debenhams survey discovered that going topless, feeling uncomfortable and being made to feel embarrassed were the top reasons women felt reluctant to go for a professional bra fit - but all three are completely false.

Gossard lingerie expert Jo van Blommestein and model Anna Linnell showed shoppers how easy and simple a bra fitting session actually is.

Gossard is celebrating its 110 years of developing lingerie that women love, so we know just how important it is for a bra to be professionally measured and fitted.

Hundreds of expertly trained lingerie fitters are fitting as many women across the UK as possible in Debenhams stores from Monday 25th April 2011 to Sunday 22th May 2011, to raise awareness of the importance of wearing the right sized bra and the dramatic difference it can make to a woman's figure.
