As a novel way of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a lingerie firm in Britain comes up an interesting idea by making the world's biggest bra.

The monster piece of lingerie, which was unveiled in London on October 28 by Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna, is 32 metres wide and has 34B cups which in real terms would be a 1222B. The bra was created by stain removal company Vanish and is now proudly suspended from the side of the Southbank building above the River Thames.

The giant piece of pink underwear will now take its place in the Guinness World Records book as the world's largest bra after being given the nod by officials.

Last year's campaign managed to raise £2.5m for breast cancer research.

Stefan Gaa, marketing director of RB UK, which manufacturers Vanish, said: "After last year's successful partnership with Breast Cancer Campaign we knew we wanted to come up with something innovative and 'big' for 2011.

"This is an issue that affects so many women and their families and Campaign are doing a vital job in raising funds for research and keeping breast cancer high profile."
